I haven't posted a reaction to the book but I read it the night it came out. I completely loved it and I would love to post all I love about it but others have done so a lot better than I could ever. I wanted to share some of my favorite post-DH discussions, art, and meta that others have posted. I also thought I would rec some of the great fics that have come out since then. I would like that it is obvious that spoilers are in everything that follows.

Art:
Until the very end by midnight_ljc - when Harry uses the Resurrection stone and is surrounded by his parents, Remus, and Sirius. Very touching and exactly like I pictured it.

Epilogue art by Eliathanis Harry telling his son its okay to be in Slytherin. I love her adult Harry and Albus looks exactly like I picture him.

Acceptance by _odella_ the scene when the Snitch opens. Very much like I pictured it.

Next generation fics:

• The Rules of Being a Godson - Complete, Teddy/James, its been rec'd everywhere but it was one of the first fics I read post-dh and one of the best.
  

• The Snake and the Lion - WIP, Albus Severus/Scorpius, unfortunately I too have fallen for this pairing although i much perfer the friendship fics than the romance ones. This one has Albus in Slytherin and Scorpius in Gryffindor

• Across the Aisle - Complete, Albus/Scorpius, sort of parallel to when their fathers meet except this time they shake hands, very good short fic.

• Epilogue #2: Forty-five Years later - Complete, Albus/Scorpius, The Next Next generation Harry and Draco meet. it's better than it sounds :)

• Letters Home - Complete, Albus/Scorpius, letters that Albus writes to his dad from first year to seventh, very good.

• Harry Potter: the Next Generation -Gen, on-going community project that includes letters and fic, sort of like the shoebox project, looks good so far

• Seven photographs - Gen, this is definitely how the epilogue should have gone. My favorite post-dh fic that I've read.

• The Road Less Travelled - gen, albus/scorpius, one of the best wip post-dh fics that I've read. Albus is in Hufflepuff and a Dursley goes to Hogwarts.

• The Inconveniences of Being a Malfoy - gen, albus/scorpius, another of my fav wip post-dh fics. Albus forces scorpius to be his friend and he ends up being the new "trio" with two Gryffindors. My summary doesn't do it justice. :)

Harry/Draco

• The Debt - AU after the Epilogue and my favorite post-dh Harry/Draco fic even though it is a wip.

If anyone has an Post DH recs I would appreciate them especially any of Neville, Luna, or Teddy. I haven't seen enough of them.
